I do a monthly Mother Goose story hour for my moms group and the kids always clamor for this book, usually begging me to read it at least two times, if not more. The sing song is so much fun to read, and the story itself just hums along with Junie, Jake, Poppa, and even Baby contributing what they can to get the whole family to the lake. The illustrations are gorgeous as well and perfectly match the rattletrap car vibe. My son received a set of DRAW books as a gift when he was 8 and still uses them several times a month (he is now 12). We are fairly impressed with the results he is able to produce. The book takes the most simplistic approach to drawing, braking the process down to three steps (basic shapes, detailing, "cleaning up").
